Whereas six or more than six symptoms show that the kid might be suffering with combined hyperactive-impulsive and inattentive disorder.
Difficulty in paying attention

It does not hinder the way of the children with the disorder from mixing up with other children. The children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder get distracted very easily by different sounds and sights. Forgetfulness and blankness are also the symptoms of ADHD. Kids, and even adults, with inattention disorder might lose things frequently or will have problem with keeping a track of things.

The awful news is that there is no cure for this disorder. There are many medications and clinical therapies and treatments that help lower the affects and symptoms of the disorder. These therapies help the individuals keep control their emotions and behaviors. The resultant effect is that they can focus on things and their performance increases.
The style of treatment would be different from case to case. Some people react better to the therapies some others respond well to the medication and few others are better with the combination of the two. So the type of treatment depends upon the type of response from the child or adult.
